Swatch Nines Surf & Skate returned to Waco, Texas, for its third edition, bringing together some of the world's most progressive surfers, skateboarders and BMX riders for three days of creativity, experimentation and progression.
From groundbreaking tricks and innovative features to artistic installations, the 2026 edition once again pushed the boundaries of what's possible when athletes are given the freedom to create.
Before anything gets built, the riders get a say.
At the Nines Creators Cabin in California, some of the most creative minds in surf and skate come together to rethink what an action sports event can look like. Their ideas don't stay on paper – they shape what gets built in Waco.
"One of the most special things about Swatch Nines is the workshop,” said surfer Zoe McDougall. “Swatch and the Nines bring all the athletes together with our big, wild ideas and then we see what's possible, and that's where the magic begins. The wave pool gives us this blank canvas to bring art and surfing together and create our own little world, and I think that's going to lead to some really special moments this year."
