In October 2024 the inaugural Swatch Nines Surf event made waves in Waco, Texas, bringing together a vibrant community of surfers, skaters, and BMX riders for a creativity-fueled celebration of their communities. Curated by pro surfer Coco Ho, this groundbreaking event marked a significant milestone as the first of its kind and the first Nines event held in the United States, offering a refreshing alternative to traditional competitions.
After the successful debut, the Swatch Nines Surf returned to Waco Surf in June 2025 for another round. Surfing, skateboarding, and BMX came together in a rider-designed dreamscape where innovative athletes pushed boundaries and redefine creativity in action sports.
In October 2026, Swatch Nines Surf & Skate returns to Waco for its third edition. We’re excited to be back at a venue that has quickly become a key part of the Nines story.
Creating a surf and skate event unlike any the world has ever seen requires extensive brainstorming, conceptualization, and discussion. To achieve this, the Swatch Nines Crew gets together in Encinitas, California, with some of the top creative minds in the surf and skate industry, including pros like Coco Ho, Noah Beschen, Sky Brown, Greyson Fletcher and Kevin Peraza. The creative outcome of this year’s creators’ cabin will be realised in October 2026 at Waco Surf.
