With many years of experience in creating one-of-a-kind events in snow sports and mountain biking, we knew we could offer a creative and exciting alternative to the traditional competitive surfing format. Our dreams and vision will come to life at Waco Surf in October 2024, in a never-before-seen combination of skate features interwoven with the signature waves provided by the PerfectSwell Wave Pool. A mix of some of the world's most exciting surfers and skaters guarantees pushing the sport in a creative and friendly way.
Creating a surf and skate event unlike any the world has ever seen requires extensive brainstorming, conceptualization, and discussion. To achieve this, the Swatch Nines Crew visited Waco Surf in April 2024, accompanied by some of the top creative minds in the surf and skate industry. Coco Ho, Noah Beschen, Mami Tezuka, Andy Andersson and Balaram Stack joined with their ideas, collaborating closely with the Swatch Nines team.
